摘要

The classical mission of libraries (acquisitions, cataloging, presentation, use) naturally applies on the whole to the music departments of academic libraries, too. But these also have a notable number of special needs; in particular, presentation and using are currently undergoing considerable transformations due to the digitization of collections.This article deals with specific projects of various music departments where the potential application of these future developments are already being tested.%Die klassischen Aufgaben von Bibliotheken »Sammeln/Erwerben, Erschließen, Benutzen/Präsentieren« gelten generell natürlich auch für Musikabteilungen an wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken. Einige Spezifika sind jedoch zu beobachten, und vor allem der Bereich der Benutzung/Präsentation unterliegt derzeit einem starken Wandel durch die Digitalisierung von Beständen. Der Beitrag stellt hierzu spezifische Projekte verschiedener Musikab-teilungen vor, in denen Möglichkeiten der künftigen Entwicklung erprobt werden.
