摘要

The Ninth International Conference on Marketing and Development was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, June 8-11,2005. The conference was organized by the School of Economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the International Society of Marketing and Development (ISMD). Over 140 scholars, business practitioners, government officials, and students participated in the conference. The conference provided a forum for the exchange of ideas among those interested in the role of marketing in social and economic development, with particular emphasis on the conference theme: "Marketing Contributions to Prosperity and Peace." Sixty competitive papers, twenty-five working papers, and one special session were presented. An abstract for each competitive paper are presented below. The conference proceedings include the conference program and abstracts for all presentations (i.e., competitive papers, working papers, and special session) and are available in CD format.
