Has the time finally come to reevaluate the legal dicta of international air law and space law, or are these current systems and the rhetoric that has evolved little over the past five decades sufficient to cabotage the weighty cargo of the existing air and space treaties on their journey into the twenty-first century? Continued technological advancements and extended capabilities of hybrid flight vehicles lend support to the notion of change, rather than maintaining the status quo.
