First of all, the definition of integrated industry is given from the perspective of complex systems; secondly, the factors of integrated industry are identified by the application of the hierarchical structure model of the complex systems theory; thirdly, the characteristics of integrated industry are analyzed; finally, the problems which should be paid attention to in the process of integrated industry enumerated.
