摘要

This work is attempted to present an analytical solution to study the thermal and mechanical waves using theory of coupled thermoelasticity without energy dissipation based on Green-Naghdi model. The boundaries of thick hollow cylinder are excited by thermal shock loading and the propagations of thermal and elastic waves are observed through radial direction. The axisymmetry and plane strain conditions are assumed for the problem. The governing equations are transferred to Laplace domain and solved analytically using series solution. The fast Laplace inverse transform (FLIT) is used to obtain the thermo-mechanical behavior in time domain. The thermal and elastic wave propagation is discussed for thermal shock loading. Also, the responses of thick hollow cylinder in temperature and displacement fields are obtained and shown as functions of radius and time in the closed form. The presented method and results are verified by published literatures.
