摘要

Two kinds of precursor fibers were prepared. ;one from polycarbosilane (PCS) and the other from hybrid polymer which is blended 20 mass polyvinylsilane 9PVS with PCS. The fibers were irradiated by electron beam (EB) under vacuum, and converted to SiC fibers by pyrolysis up to 1273K in Ar.The SiC fiber from the hybrid precursor had a smaller diameter of 8 .5 Mu m than that of 12 mu m from PCS. The tensile strength of the SiC fibers fro PCS and hybrid presursor treated at 1273K was 2.7 and 3.2 GPA. respectively.
