A comparative analysis was carried out on long carbon fibres-epoxy composites cured with two different curing agents: an industrial product (a polyamine), and a "tailored" one (by modification of the chemical structure of the same amine). The characteristic of most interest of the latter curing agent is the capacity of hardening of DGEBA-TYPE epoxy resins at room temperature.
