US and Korean legislators have sent a letter to President Obama and South Korean President Lee, urging the leaders to make substantive changes to the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement (KORUS). One of the legislators' main concerns is the impact the FTA will have on market access for the textile industry. The letter was signed by 20 US congressmen, led by Mike Michaud, chairman of the House Trade Working Group, and 35 members of South Koreas National Assembly. The group is seeking balanced and fair economic exchange between the US and Korea.
