"MART" is a new type of long fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite, which is a compressed bulky compound composed of a dry mixture of thermoplastic resin powder and chopped fiber. The melted MART has excellent flowability, making it extremely suitable for application to complicated shapes with parts containing thin ribs and bosses, as well as simple and flat shaped parts. Furthermore, MART provides a much better surface appearance of the molded parts than other reinforced thermoplastic composites.
