Occupational assessment - including assessment centres, psychological testing and profiling of potential job candidates and biodata assessments - has become a vital tool in the executive recruitment and selection process. The recruitment industry and client firms have highlighted the need for a standard to provide guidance on the process for some time, and as a consequence ISO is now developing a standard for occupational assessment services, with BSI heading up the UK input for its development.
