Part of TESOL's Language Teacher Research Series, the current volume is a collection of action research case studies from English instructors in the Americas (Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Jamaica and the United States). Written for both pre-and in-service teacher programmes, the series is designed so that all language instructors, regardless of qualification and research experience, are able to benefit from the examples of teacher research and implement the methodologies in their own classrooms (iv).
