June 1st. 2007 was the date and now REACH is into force. Within one year, all compa-nies have now to adjust to the new EU-regulation and its economical impacts. As described in the previous parts, we outlined that a complete inventory of all required chemical substances and formulations combined with each annual quantities is the first step for a leather manufacturer in order to prepare for REACH.
