In response to our request for an outline of the company philosophy and markets, Charles Hoyt says: 'It is the philosophy of Karl Hoyt to develop new export markets slowly, one region at a time. This has been the cornerstone of Whittemore-Wright's successful export policy. Each salesman/technician is responsible for their home territory while also travelling overseas. Kenneth Kantola covers the Midwest and I [Charles Hoyt] cover the East while Karl Hoyt runs the factory and coordinates the export sales. In 1998, Tim Howes was hired to help with technical sales both in the States and abroad. With his help, Whittemore-Wright have developed new products for waterproof, antifog, and finishing oils.'
