摘要

The rotary hearth furnace plant for dust recycling with a 180,000 ton per year capacity has been operated at Kimitsu Works since May 2000. The plant expels zinc from dust and sludge, and produce RDI pellets. The DRI pellets are strong enough for being recycled to the blast furnace. Another rotary hearth furnace will be operated in December 2002. All the dust and sludge will be recycled then.
