摘要

CONSTEEL~® is described as an innovative system allowing a high degree of continuity in electric steelmaking. The background of the ORI Martin project and the considerations having led to the choice of CONSTEEL are presented. The time schedule and the constraints in the installation and start up phases are discussed. Consumption figures are compared with the pre-CONSTEEL results. The new processing route induces also changes in metallic charge characteristics, process control and environmental impact.%CONSTEEL~® est une manière innovante d'introduire une continuité dans la filière de production d'acier au four électrique. Le contexte du projet d'ORI Martin et les raisons qui ont conduit au choix de CONSTEEL sont expliqués. Le planning serré et les autres contraintes qui ont caractérisé les phases d'installation et de mise en route sont détaillés. Les chiffres de consommation sont comparés à ceux de la période antérieure. Le nouveau système de production s'accompagne aussi de modifications dans les caractéristiques de l'enfournement métallique et de retombées favorables dans le domaine de la protection de l'environnement.
