摘要

This article presents a description of efforts to create the Subject Index to Literature on Electronic Resources, a Webbed, page-specific index. Issues, problems, and pitfalls faced when starting this one-man project are discussed. The article gives a brief analysis of the methodology used to create the Index, the accompanying Electronic Sources of Information: A Bibliography describes the users of the Web index. A listing of the most urgent problems of the Index and plans for the future.
