摘要

Education at your doorstep is only possible if information and communication technology (ICT) is used through the current enrolments in online learning from a more non-technical background. A new era has begun with the entry of concepts of e-learning in education systems and has opened a new era in education with flexible learning opportunities. Student Support Services are very important in online and distance learning. They are crucial in the accreditation process of distance education courses and the decision of national and international bodies to award university degrees, college diplomas and training certification for studies done at a distance/online. The term Student Support Services refers to variety of non-academic interactions that the student has with a college or university, and it includes pre-enrollment services (recruiting, promotion and orientation), admissions, registration, academic advising, financial planning, management, library services, bookstore services, etc.
