Our 1976 Cessna T-210 has developed what appears to be a serious problem. The engine (a Continental TSIO-520-R) has developed a seep underneath the No. 5 cylinder. At first we thought the cylinder was cracked, so we pulled it off. However, we found no cracks in that cylinder, but we did find that the cause of the oil seep was some surface irregularities at the cylinder gasket face. The trouble really began when we decided to take off the No. 5 piston while the cylinder was off. That's when we found the piston pin bushing was worn and chipping away at its front edge.
