摘要

During flight, if a carburetor slows the process of supplying fuel to the engine, the most likely cause for the problem will be the formation of ice clinging to the walls and edges of the Venturis. The anomaly is common for almost all types of carburetors and is the result of a drop in temperature in an area where fuel is atomized and pressure is reduced. Both of these conditions are found in any carburetor venturi designed to pull fuel from a discharge nozzle and mix the supply with incoming air.
