As discussed last month, there are a number of issues on the minds of lubricant distributors in 2018. Although many of the issues were also a concern in 2017, the scale of the changes and the increasingly high stakes tied to decisions around them is expected to intensify. Further, many of the decisions distributors will face are not isolated; instead they are complex, interrelated and subject to change. As a result, managing the business and choosing a course of action will be more important this year than it has ever been in the past.
