Bearing manufacturer SKF is expanding its portfolio of lubricants for the food and beverage industry with a wide line of oils, greases and other lubes formulated to meet USDA H1 and NSF standards while keeping factories humming smoothly and safely. The lineup includes greases designed for general purpose and for high- and low-temperature applications; chain oils engineered for a variety of temperatures and moisture levels; gear oils; hydraulic oils and dry-film lubes. It points out that the new line, in addition to reducing friction and wear while fighting oxidation and corrosion, also contributes to plant-wide safety by supporting Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Points.
