工作機械すべりガイドのしゆう動特性を評価しrnてきた中で，一般に境界潤滑領域と思われる低摩rn擦速度条件下においてある種の潤滑剤を用いるとrn摩擦速度増加に対して摩擦係数が増加する摩擦係rn数の速度依存性が広い速度範囲で確認された．こrnの速度依存性は極低速域での摩擦係数を非常に低rnくするだけでなく，スティックスリップを発生さrnせにくくする作用もあると考えられる．%It was found that, in a previous report, coefficient of friction of a slide-way guide of a machine tool strongly depended on sliding velocity under the low pressure and low velocity condition if commercial special lubricants were used. Low friction and suppression of stick-slip motion of the machine tool slide-way guide are brought about by these friction properties. In order to elucidate a friction mechanism in this situation, effects of various types of additive on the friction are experimentally investigated. It was found that only alkyl acid phosphate with long chain exhibits the low friction and velocity-dependent property of friction. Results of surface analyses of the well running-in surface and the corrosive test of iron suggest that there exists the organic film with absorbed alkyl acid phosphate on reacted iron phosphate. It is considered that existence of this organic film is one of the most important factors for the velocity-dependent property of friction.
