The iPhone has become a gravy train for some games developers and, thanks to Apple's SDK (software development kit), it has opened the door for many independent creators. But the need to learn programming language Objective C has been a barrier. That is, until GameSalad by Gendai Games arrived. It lets you quickly produce iPhone, Mac and web games with no programming knowledge whatsoever. To get your game on the iPhone, you have to pay S99 (£69) a year for an Express GameSalad licence. You need to pay the same sum to enrol on the iPhone Developer Program.
