A study was conducted to optimize the dyeing variables for dyeing of cotton using Double coreopsis (Coreopsis fincforia) floral dye. The results of the study revealed that the optimum conditions standardize were wave length 350 nm, extraction time 30 minutes, dye extraction pH 8, dye material concentration 6%, dyeing time 45 minutes and dyeing pH 7.5. Using these standardized dyeing conditions a wide range of light golden yellow colour can be produced.
