摘要

Draw texturing machine is widely used for enhancing the properties of synthetic filaments, the overall man-made fibre industries are highly focusing on export-oriented qualities of the textile material. This could be achieved by optimizing the process parameters on the machine during operations. The present study has been conducted on AALIDHRA AFT 11-HS/07-08/89. Different waste has been collected such as doffing waste, checking waste, staining waste and broken filament waste by producing filament at different machine speed, draw ratio, D/Y ratio, and take up speed and heater temperatures. Successful optimization of the machine parameters resulted in enhancing of machine efficiency by 5 %.
