In the next two year"s, investment to the tune of ￥ 400 crore to ￥ 500 crore would come up in vidarbha region in textile sector. There are some projects in the pipeline and proposals would be cleared soon. Under the new textile policy, the state government has proposed to come up with spinning mills in areas where there is better cotton cultivation. "the government is positive in this regard and also committed to development of vidarbha. In next couple of years, the region will see investment to the tune of crores of rupees coming in" added chief minister prithviraj chavan.
