摘要

Dyeing of CI Acid Red 1 in presence of Hydrogen peroxide/Mono ethylene glycol (H_2O_2/MEG) redox system for silk fabric has been investigated. The redox system causes an improvement in the dye uptake than conventional dyeing. The improvement depends upon the concentration of redox system and dyeing temperature. The better result is obtained at 0.075/0.075- mol/l redox system at 70℃ for 60 minutes. It has shown considerable promise for use in the dyeing industries.
