摘要

MgO-CaO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 (MCAS) glass synthesized by sol-gel method was used to improve the sintering and dielectric properties of the 0.88Al_2O_3-0.12TiO_2 ceramics. Using MCAS glass as sintering additives, 0.88Al_2O_3-0.12TiO_2 ceramics can be sintered at a relatively low temperature, 1350 ℃. The effect of glass additives and post-annealing treatment on the phase compositions and dielectric properties of 0.88 Al_2O_3-0.12TiO_2 ceramics is investigated. The decomposition of Al_2TiO_5, which formed in the sintering process, depends on the MCAS content and time of annealing treatment. Further investigation indicates that the decomposition degree of Al_2TiO_5 has a strong influence on the microwave dielectric properties of 0.88Al_2O_3-0.12TiO_2 ceramics.
