Structure and optical property of CdS_(1-x)Se_x/CdS nanocomposite prepared by a simple and low cost approach

摘要

CdS1- xSex/CdS nanocomposite was prepared via a two-step approach. Namely the CdS1- xSex nanoparticles were prepared using Cd(NH3)(4)(2+), Na2S, and Se as reagents by hydrothermal method, and then the CdS1- xSex nanoparticles were dispersed in Cd(NH3)(4)(2+) solution and Na2S solution dropped in, leading to the CdS1- xSex/CdS nanocomposite. TEM measurement reveals that the sizes of the CdS1- xSex nanoparticles and CdS1- xSex/CdS nanocomposite are about 10 and 15 nm, respectively. The CdS1- xSex/CdS nanocomposite has similar structure as that of the CdS1- xSex, but exhibits different optical property compared with that of the single CdS and CdS1- xSex. The present work would provide a mild, convenient, and inexpensive process for preparing II/VI group semiconductor nanocomposite.
