摘要

The shaped charge anti-armour warhead can be regarded as one of the highest precision conventional warhead constructions in existence. One of the major functional components of the shaped charge is the 'liner'. It is a thin walled conical shaped component, usually made in a very high purity, soft, copper, to a very high precision. The slightest departure from roundness of the inner or outer wall of the liner will have an influence on the straightness of the resultant 'jet' and therefore on the performance of the shaped charge.
