This Special Issue contains selected papers devoted to piezoelectric technologies which, employed in practice integrate most mechanical systems with other different engineering systems and highlight specific interdisciplinary problems requiring solutions. Linkage between different engineering systems through piezoelectric technologies and accurate interdisciplinary aspects connected with this integration are, through piezoelectric technologies, visible in almost every work of this issue.
