摘要

In this paper, we carry out analysis on the switching effect on the output voltage of a buck converter. Both of Deterministic PWM (DPWM) and Randomized PWM (RPWM) are studied. The switching times (turn on and turn off times) of the power components are modeled by approximating the output voltage by a trapezoidal waveform that allows the extension of the spectral analysis to a large frequency range. The voltage analysis shows the advantage of the randomization from the point of view of Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC), and the switching effect on the voltage noise at high frequencies, which makes it indispensable to model the switching effect for HF analysis.
