At the Techtextil, August Herzog Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, Oldenburg/Germany, will show the patented variation braider VF 1/(4-32)-140. The carriers are arranged rectangularly and can automatically produce round and profiled braids with carrier numbers between 4 and 32. The machine on display is equipped with 24 switchable crossings. Together with a Siemens PLC control including touch panel and database, product and profile changes can be carried out during the braiding process. This new and patented technology enables complete new product designs such as branch structures, loops, splices etc. for various applications.
