At the 31st International Cotton Conference, to be held on March 21-24, 2012, in Bremen/Germany, high-ranking speakers will present current trends and scientific results around the raw materials. Are cotton and synthetic fibers competitors, or do they complement each other? Terry Townsend (ICAC/USA) will introduce the discussion and explain in a country comparison production costs, resource problems, and worldwide production estimates for both cotton and synthetic fibers.
