In February 2011 the Italian RadiciGroup, Bergamo, took over the synthetic staple fiber producer dorix GmbH, formerly Selbitzer Chemiefaser GmbH. The company is a producer of PA 6 stable fibers (dorix) and PP staple fibers (Reiter) with sales of € 10 million in 2010 and 43 employees. Willy Weiss is the business manager. This transaction will enable RadiciGroup to expand its product range to higher titers up to 300 dtex and strengthen its market position.
