The Italian company Ferraro Spa, Lonate Poz-zolo, has developed 2 new compactors for knitted fabrics.rnThe new open width compactor Comptex Revolution presents a new compacting geometry that allows more shrinkage (+ 30%), an average speed up to 20 % more compared to similar machines, and a new selvedges cutting system running at high speed. The tenter of de 9.7 m length is completely made by stainless steel, as are the chain and support. A patented extraction hood allows an efficient action on top of the fabric for a better shrinkage result.
