Today the Country is fragmented by infinite divisions. In the areas controlled by Great Britain in the colonial era, since 1991 there has been Somaliland, a State not recognized by the international Organizations. In 1998 the north eastern Regions declared their independence, taking the name of Puntland, and the southern Regions are an easy prey to various «warlords» always at war against each other.%Il Paese oggi è frammentato da infinite divisioni.
