There is no lack of sources of security concern in the ASPAC. A more engaged America might help to reduce sources of concern, but that is hardly likely under the current administration and at this stage nobody can be certain of what will come post-Obama. Consequently, it would appear that the ASPAC will continue to represent one of the most active defence marketplaces globally.
