Currently there are three pressing issues that should be holding everyone's interest in the media, but only one is ever present: "Demon Russia". The others are Iran, which still gets some coverage and Nigeria's Boko Haram (which would get almost no coverage), if it would not be for those abducted girls. While I in no way condone Vladimir Putin's behaviour, one really has to comment him on taking on NATO ... riding horses without a shirt and balls of steel.
