The Indo/Russian stealth-fighter FGFA (Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft), based on Sukhoi's T-50 PAK FA, although being a joint-development programme and not a "regular" acquisition, has deliberately been spared to illustrate what a supplier - for example Dassault - might experience in delivering a combat-aircraft system to India: One has to consider extensive patience and - also financial - stamina, as many undertakings might miss their projected in-service date for years, like that "magic" horizon of 2020. This has a number of reasons.
