Moench has produced several special issues on individual Nordic countries over the past 30 years. This is the first time that Monch or any professional defence publication has focused solely on the defence innovations from the Nordic Region. If Moench devoted an entire issue of MILITARY TECHNOLOGY and NAVAL FORCES to Nordic innovations, then it would still be impossible to cover everything. What makes the Nordic region significant is the vast number of defence solutions developed and produced by one of the world's least populated regions and is likely to be the world's greatest developer and exporter of defensive solutions.
