On 25 and 26 November 2010, Rolls-Royce invited a group of journalists primarily from Germany and the Netherlands to attend a two days presentation of its defence aerospace business at its newly constructed production facilities at Rolls-Royce in Bristol (UK). As a world leader in aircraft engines, the company has an impressive orderbook of ￡ 58.3 billion and generated a group revenue of ￡10.1 billion in 2009. This figure was generated by the company's civil aerospace (44%), defence aerospace (20%), marine (26%), and energy (10%) businesses.
