The Polish company Etronika presented several optical devices at IDET 2011 including their new KTL-30 thermal camera designed for observation in day, night, fog and smoke conditions.The KTL-30 is based on an un-cooled 640x480 resolution detec-tor and wide-angle lens, giving the possibility to locate heat emitting objects. The body housing is made of magnesium alloy, which imparts strength, while maintaining moderate weight. The camera can be useful in SAR and law enforcement operations.
