For over 65 years, WEW Westerwaelder Eisenwerk GmbH has specialised in welded pressure vessels. In 1999, WEW became a part of the Burg Group. Now part of Buhold Group, WEW Germany and its sister company Welfit Oddy of South Africa are leaders in tank containers, equipment and storage systems. The Buhold Group employs around 1,300 people worldwide. In an interview with MILITARY TECHNOLOGY Dr. Ulrich Bern-hardt, CEO assess the progress so far.
