On the 27 May 2003, the Development, Procurement and Production Contract for 180 A400M aircraft was signed between Organisation Conjointe de Cooperation en matiere de Armement (OCCAR) and Airbus Military Sociedad Limitada (AMSL). According to the contract almost 200 A400M aircraft were purchased by seven NATO nations (including 1 aircraft for Luxembourg) - eight for Belgium, 60 for Germany, 50 for France, 25 for Great Britain, 27 for Spain, and 10 for Turkey. The aircraft are to be delivered to the purchasing nations between 2009 and 2021.
