Next to the companies mentioned in these articles are other subsystem and component producers that have not been mentioned, due to limited space of a printed publication. The following section includes contributions by selected companies that support the Luftwaffe and have business in Aeronautics. This is a special service provided as a thank you to those companies supporting this Special Issue. The information presented is based on material provided by the companies, and does not involve in any way the responsibility of the German Air Force or the Editorial Staff.rnOver the next few months the defence budget for 2011, and the future year's defence plan, will be debated and decided. At the centre of this annual ritual is a quest to field systems that strike the best balance between the military requirements, affordability and time to delivery. A case in point can be seen in air and missile defence for Germany and its allies.
