When I first received this pack, the first thing I noticed was how light (1.15kg/2.8lbs) it was, being a very high quality (500D Cordura) built pack, able to really take a heavy beating, still being sleek. It has so many options that make up to be an outstanding EDC pack. Every strap features Velcro keepers (adding to stealth), a detachable waist belt, discreet loops on the bottom for attaching extra gear, laser cut molle on the front (making it stand out as tactical) and velcro for morale patches. The main compartment has three loops to dangle or tie gear, and the side compression straps are also there to accommodate strapping items on the sides. The pack has five different drinking tube exit ports and a 31 hydration compartment. The pack comes included with the Camelbak Antidote hydration bladder. The zippers are very responsive and super easy to open without it being loose. Further it includes a quick stash compartment with a key attachment and two full length compartments, an admin compartment and a large and simple main compartment. The independent suspension harness has just enough padding to accommodate an empty or fully loaded pack. The straps have breakaway buckles. This is the perfect EDC pack, having the right dimensions, perfectly executed shoulder straps and a very comfortable Air Director back panel. I love its straightforward easy-to-live-with design, carry capacity and superior fit for a small pack. I now use it regularly for excursions, trips and short hikes (among other things). The Camelbak Mil Tac HAWG is a keeper in the MONCh GearBox.
