Aria has further strengthened its environmentally-friendly packaging credentials with all its fresh milk and Cravendale polybottles now containing 15% recycled plastic. The move follows discussion between Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP), Dairy UK, HDPE recycling companies and bottle manufacturers and sees the amount of recycled plastic in Aria's polybottles increase by 5%. Richard Taplin, Aria's packaging manager, says that the introduction of more recycled plastic in its polybottles equates to a carbon reduction to Aria of approximately 3200 tonnes per year.
