PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new solution for raising a sugar content and provide a method for sprinkling the solution by solving problems described below that, though a certain degree of raising of the sugar content is expected when a sucrose-containing solvent is directly sprayed onto fruits, but the sprayed fatty acid sucrose ester induces fungi and reduces commercial values caused by generating fungi on leaves, stems and fruits, further, though the inventor tried to spray a mixture of an agrochemical with a sucrose solution to suppress generation of fungi, but effects to suppress fungi were not obtained. ;SOLUTION: This solution for raising sugar content of fruits contains 50-30 wt.% brown sugar, 2-1 wt.% fructose, 2-1 wt.% saccharose which is purified sugar, 2-1 wt.% glucose and 5-1% magnesium salt. This method for raising sugar content is to use the aforesaid solution as a stock solution, dilute the stock solution and sprinkle or add to a soil before 7 to 10 days of harvest.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
