摘要

CRC is a new scheme being implemented by the Government and is set to begin in January 2010, with a three-year introductory phase. CRC will be a mandatory emissions trading scheme designed to cover large business and public sector organisations which will limit the overall CO_2 emissions caused by energy use. CRC will cover organisations whose annual half-hourly metered electricity use, and 70 kVA metered use in Northern Ireland, is above 6000 MWh. The CRC will cover both direct and indirect energy use emissions outside the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) and Climate Change Agreements (CCAs). It is expected that organisations spending more than ￡500,000 a year in the UK on electricity are likely to be included in the scheme. Dairy UK has prepared a flow diagram to help you determine whether you will be regulated under the scheme.
